Notes: "Berger Chemin De Gouvernes (Seine and Marne)", was painted by Edouard Leon Cortes, circa 1920-1930. The painting is signed lower left, Edouard Cortes. It is an interesting early painting, when Cortes includes animals in his work, he exhibits the influence of his father and older brother, who were known for farm yard subjects.
