Notes: "Cheminot Sur Une Route", was painted by Edouard Leon Cortes, circa 1920-1930. The painting is signed lower left Edouard Cortes. He was able to capture a railway worker or possibly a "Hobo" walking down a lonely country road on a cold rainy day. Social realism at its best.
