Notes: "Paysage en Normandie", was painted by Edouard Leon Cortes, circa 1920-1930. It is signed lower right Edouard Cortes. The painting is on a lined canvas; scattered faint hairline cracks in paint with no associated paint loss; stable surface; under UV exam, there appear to be scattered vertical lines and small dots of inpainting throughout the compositions, particularly in sky, the longest being approx. 6 inches in sky above tree stump.
