Notes: Porte Saint-Denis, Paris which was painted c. 1925-1930 is oil on canvas measuring 21.26 x 25.59, signed lower left Ed. Cortes and housed in a period 1870's frame. Madame Nicole Verdier has confirmed the authenticity of the work which will be included in the Catalogue Raisonne Edouard Cortes, which she is preparing. A Certificate, dated June, 2010, will accompany the painting.
