Notes: "Porte St. Martin, circa 1935" by Edouard Leon Cortes, is signed lower left, Edouard Cortes and titled on stretchers. The Overall craquelure, commensurate with age; minor areas of in-painting (.25" region on car fender, lower left quadrant; 1.5" region on left soldier's coat, lower right quadrant; 1" region on right soldier's coat, lower right quadrant;.5" region on boy's right shoulder, lower center); otherwise very good condition; frame dimensions: 29 x 39.5". This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from David Klein.
