Notes: "The Pantheon", by Edouard Leon Cortes, was painted circa 1960 and is signed lower right, Edouard Cortes. The painting is on unlined canvas; discolored varnish layer; under UV exam, there appears to be minor dots of possible overpaint/strengthening in tree foliage, several small flecks in awning, carriage, florist, and man in trenchcoat at right, as well as along base of railing at left, but discolored, uneven varnish layer makes painting surface difficult to read.
